About Us

Pepsi Little People’s is an international junior golf tournament for boys and girls ages 3 through 18. It has been held annually at golf courses in Quincy, Illinois, USA, since 1974, and has hosted some 24,000 junior golfers and their families. Many of these are now playing on the PGA, LPGA, European, Korn Ferry, PGA Champions, Sunshine, MacKenzie, Symetra and various other Tours.  Many are highly ranked college players, or are active as golf professionals or as golf coaches, or in other golf-related businesses.

Because of COVID-19, the 47th annual Pepsi Little People’s, originally scheduled for June 22-24, 2020, has been cancelled, and is being replaced with a Virtual Pepsi Little People’s (see information under REGISTRATION on this website).  The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) has agreed to grant the winners of our boys and girls 16-18 divisions in this Virtual event a tournament exemption (tournament to be named).  Division winners will each receive an exemption to the Future Champions Golf.  

Players in the Virtual Little People’s will each receive a 20% off coupon from Garb, leading manufacturer of junior golf clothings, and each division winner will receive a $50 gift coupon from Garb.  Each player will also receive a package of Golfdotz, from Golfdotz, and a special gift from Pepsi.

Under normal conditions, Pepsi Little People’s is played in seven age divisions for boys and seven age divisions for girls (3-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, and 16-18). Trophies go to the top three finishers in each division, with participant medals to all non-trophy winners ages 3 through 9, and medals to 6th place for non-trophy winners for ages 10 through 18. In the Virtual Little People’s, the tournament will still be played in the same seven age divisions for boys and seven age divisions for girls.  Medals, rather than trophies, will be mailed to the winners and places, as well as to the younger participants.

Again, under normal circumstances, activities start each year on Sunday (Father’s Day), with the optional Applebee’s Parent-Child and associated events, followed by practice rounds and the Family Picnic, co-sponsored by Refreshment Services Pepsi, Hy-Vee, WGEM and Quincy Herald Whig, on Monday. Competition takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, with prize ceremonies immediately following completion of play in each Division.  Because of this year’s virtual circumstances, there will be no Parent-Child event nor a Picnic.  Play in the virtual event will be between June 18 and June 24 at the player’s choice of course (see Virtual Entry Form on this website).

Information on Qualifying and Rankings for the 2021 Pepsi Little People’s will be available when information on the 2021 tournament is announced later this year.

Entry forms and information for the 48th annual Pepsi Little People’s and associated events, to be held June 20-23, 2021, will be available on this website starting February 1.
