Info on Junior World
INFORMATION ON QUALIFYING FOR
IMG ACADEMY JUNIOR WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS AT LITTLE PEOPLE’S
To All Parents:
Pepsi Little People’s is a qualifier for boys and girls 5 through 14 for the 2023 IMG Academy Junior World Golf Championships. The lowest scoring boy and girl aged 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 will qualify to play in Junior World July 11-13, IF he or she has registered to try to qualify at Little People’s and has met the birthdate qualifications. There is a $5 qualifying fee which goes to Junior World.
Age groups for Junior World are 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14. If your child’s birthday falls between June 21 and July 13, and he or she will be moving into the next Junior World age division, then he or she is NOT eligible to try to qualify at Little People’s. I know this is confusing, so here is an example:
If Sarah is entered in Little People’s as a 7-year-old and turns 8 before Junior World (July 13), she CAN try to qualify at Little People’s as she would be playing in the 7-8 division at Junior World.
If Robert is entered in Little People’s as an 8-year-old, and turns 9 before Junior World (July 13), he can NOT try to qualify at Little People’s because he would be moving into the 9-10 division at Junior World.
In order to be eligible to try to qualify at Little People’s, you must meet the above age requirements, pay the $5 qualifying fee, and sign up at Little People’s registration before 5 pm on Monday, June 19.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR TRYING TO QUALIFY FOR JUNIOR WORLD
If your child is eligible, and wishes to try to qualify for Junior World at Little People’s, you must register him/her at the Junior World Station at the Registration Table at Westview between Noon and 6 pm on Sunday, June 18, or between 9 am and 5 pm on Monday, June 19.
There is NO registration for trying to qualify for Junior World at Little People’s prior to Noon on June 18, and NO registration to try to qualify after 5 pm on Monday, June 19. Qualifying fee is $5, which goes to Junior World. You may only register to try to qualify at Little People’s during regular registration hours at Westview Golf Course.

NOTE TO PARENTS – It is your or your child’s responsibility to register during the above mentioned times IF your child wishes to try to qualify for Junior World at Little People’s. There is NO PRE-REGISTRATION NOR REGISTRATION AFTER 5 PM ON MONDAY. If you have a question, please see Nan at Registration.
PLEASE….If you do not plan to go to Junior World under any circumstances, it would be advisable to NOT sign up to try to qualify, as it causes confusion to those trying to qualify.
